This is definitely not your grandfather's Balkan blend. Rich Cyprian Latakia is combined with fragrant Orientals, sweet Virginias, a splash of zesty Perique, and a bit of unflavored black Cavendish, pressed into cakes and sliced. The result is deep, smoky, slightly sweet, and a cool, contemplative experience.

5 Plum Pudding
Posted by Royce Hargrove on Feb 10th 2023
This stuff is all its cracked up to be. Sweet, sour and smoky. Taste like the inside of a bbq smoker smells. It takes a couple of relights to get it going but once it does it smokes slow and cool. No chance of bite and burns to a fine white ash. Highly recommend getting some if you like Balkan blends.

Super earthy I thought. Tasted great. Burnt slow. All around awesome stuff.

If you love Latakia or just want to try some. This is it. In my opinion. No one over it. I love it! And I am a Virginia/Kentucky lover

3 Over Hyped
Posted by Jim on Jan 31st 2020
One of the most over hyped tobaccos in years. First of all it's expensive - very expensive, second, it taste nothing like plum pudding, third it burns poorly. There is no magic here unless if you consider mixing Latikia and Perique together as 80% of your mixture. I paid the price too late after buying too many tins only to discover I could have made this blend at home for half the price.

One of the best non-aromatic tobaccos I've smoked. I can't wait to try out the "Reserve" mixture. Spendy but worth it!

Upon opening the tin, you are in for a delicious smoke. Joe Lankford is a Master Blender. This is my favorite English blend. Extremely flavorful,,and burns to a clean white ash..
