These are SO hard to find (bristled churchwardens specifically), but quite valuable to me to be honest. I always recommend a bristled cleaner for pipes not smoked often and/or not routinely cleaned after each smoke, but it's rare to find them in churchwarden size, so mine go untended to all too often. I admit I probably have a higher percentage of churchwardens than the average pipe aficionado because I love 'em long, but they still may go some time in between smoking and be in need of a little extra care. Obviously the bristles can be a bit abrasive if used too often against a clean pipe, but a bundle of 32 never goes bad either! You can't go wrong with BJ Long's in general, and I recommend the regular & bristled cleaners in standard & churchwarden sizes for every pipe smoker with a good collection and rotation of pipes.
