To suit each individual pipesmoker's exacting needs. Alfred Dunhill recognises that a selection of pipes needs to be as varied as the pipe smokers' tastes. Alfred Dunhill pipes are available in the shapes and sizes shown below; the numbers below each shape indicate the group size available. Not all shapes and sizes of pipes can accomodate all mouthpieces. All Alfred Dunhill pipes are stamped with a four digit code number.
1st digit - denotes the size of the pipe - 1 through 6 2nd digit - denotes the style of the mouthpiece (0,1=tapered, 2=saddle) 3rd and 4th digits - denote the generic pipe shape (shown below)
e.g. 5102 (5 = size 1 = style of mouthpiece 02 = Bent)
